Bio

Beyond interior design I am a lifelong Creative. I love to roll up my sleeves and use my hands to make things (painting, dying, textiles). I also grow plants and make exotic botanical scents. I have collected artsy things most of my adult life and have been obsessed with rearranging furniture since I was five years old. I am a hunter for treasures during my travels. “Letting nature in” is my favorite design principal drawing my style from elements found in the wild while infusing global inspirations into my work.

My greatest influence regarding my love for design was thanks to my high school art teacher, Mrs. Virginia Hayes. She wore black kohl eye makeup like a modern day Cleopatra and wore bold prints w/chunky avant- guarde jewelry. She took me (and other students) on trips overseas exposing us to art and culture. We wandered the back belly of old cities exploring street markets, architecture, opera, and art.

This probably led me to design school in the early 2000’s and I went right to work in the field after interning at the prestigious SkyLAB architecture firm under well known designer, Andie Hess. I have also studied marketing and brand management. I have built many brands including wellness inspired beauty brands. As an interior designer I help people transform physical spaces into homes that reflected who they are. As a wellness and brand builder I helped people create rituals, products, and communities that transformed how they felt in their bodies and lives. Both are the same impulse. Both require the same skills: Deep listening to understand what someone truly wants. Translating a vision into something tangible and beautiful mind and body.

Anyone who knows me knows that I have a unique aesthetic with a passion for creating unforgettable spaces that inspire beauty and healing! Allow me to be your design guide. It’s ALL about the VIBE!”

Thank you!
